Gardening has been proven to be so calming and relaxing, that is actually even more effective than lying and reading a book. That’s why it is the number one hobby all around the world, especially in America. Of course, other than being stress-free, you’re also being physically active. If nothing else, you’re doing a lot of up-downs and that’s not easy at all, folks! Anyway, you know that for gardening, all you need is seeds and water and some tools. But that’s not it. You also need some products that keep the plants away from pest and from diseases. You’ll have to nourish them and improve their soil, as well. These products, not only cost too much, but also they affect your plants as well. That’s why, we’ve got you a list of things you have in your household which are extremely effective for your plants.

Gardening tips for pest rejection

Soap – Never thought that soap can help your babies? Just add half of the soap in a bucket of water and water the parts which are infested.

Neem – The pests are multiplying. What can you do that’s super natural to prevent them? Neem oil and soap. We’ve already told you that soap helps the infected plants. Together with neem oil, soap helps fighting pests as well. Spray 1 spoon of neem and ½ spoon of soap on the leaves of your plants.

Honey – You already know millions of reasons to consume honey. It’s just so damn healthy! Don’t you wanna give it to your plants as well? Mixing honey with borax, put the mixture on the infested parts of the plants. This is a perfect solution for fighting ants. Ants have aphids which are bad for the plants, so you need to get rid of the ants.

Tips for the soil

Bird feces – Surprised? Well, if you have access to bird poop (and don’t worry, bird poop doesn’t smell), immediately grab a bag and fill it with it. Bird poop is high in nitrogen and nitrogen is a great fertilizer. Mix bird feces with the layer of the soil that you intend to use for your plants.

Tea made out of weed –As surprising as it sounds this tea is an amazing fertilizer. You practically hate the weeds that grow all around your garden, then get rid of them in a useful way. Pull them from the ground, put them in boiled water and make the ‘tea’. After a few days, splash it all over your garden.

Vinegar – You must’ve heard about this one. Spraying vinegar on the weeds when the sun is hottest, destroys them in a second.

Try these gardening tips and you’ll be amazed. You lose nothing by trying, right? And you can gain a lot! So, good luck guys!
