Lemon, salt and pepper – simple solutions to tricky problems? And what kind of problems are we talking about? The ones that get on our nerves most: gallstones, toothache, colds and flues and many more. Interested in finding out why and how to use lemon, salt and pepper in treating these?

lemon salt and pepper

We use salt and pepper every day. Literally. But we bet you’ve never thought to use them in a different way – you’re still using them by default in ever meal of your day (except in sweet). Actually, if we add another ingredient and make a great trio, lemon, salt and pepper,  we get simple, useful means for treating some kinds of conditions that you’d usually go to see a doctor for. Below, we’ll show you which conditions and give you quick recipes for getting rid of them using either lemon or salt or pepper.

Gallstones

Although gallstones can be removed with surgery, there’s a homemade solution to naturally remove them from your digestive system.

Mix juice from 1 lemon, black pepper, salt and olive oil in a glass. Consume one glass a day until you feel the results.

Sore Throat

You need to add only 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of salt sea, and half a teaspoon of black pepper in warm water. This time, you don’t drink it but you gargle several times a day. It lessens the feeling of sore throat and prevents coughing.

Toothache

Our worst enemy! Although this solution is not definitive, you still need to see a dentist :), we offer temporal solution until you get the dentist’s appointment.

Mix one teaspoon of clove oil and pepper. Now, dab the mixture on a cotton ball and swab the tooth or the gum. You’ll immediately feel better. And this is good for bad breath as well. So you have two in one combination.

Colds and flues

We know that homemade soup is the thing for flues, but this is the new secret. In a cup of hot water, put one lemon cut in half, and leave it stand in the water for 10 minutes. Now squeeze it and add a little bit of pepper in it and depending on your taste, you may add honey. You can drink it whenever you want until the flu is gone.

Nosebleed

For this one, you only need lemon. Dab a cotton ball in lemon and put it in the nostril. Gently swab a little bit and the bleeding will stop.
