Look At The Signs Of An Urinary Tract Infection And See When It’s Time To Act

Do you know the signs of an urinary tract infection? Some may surprise you. Look at them and see when you need to see a doctor.

UTI, or urinary tract infection is a pretty nasty condition. In women, it is usually caused by wrong wiping after peeing. This is because there are bacteria in the anus, and if you’re wiping from the to front, you’re basically transporting the bacteria to the urthera.  From here, the bacteria goes to the bladder and sometimes even to the kidneys. In men, UTI happens as a result of holding the urine, bacteria or long antibiotics consumption.

Signs of an urinary tract infection

The first symptoms of UTI are:

  • Urge for urinating
  • Little urine comes out when you urinate but you still have a feeling that you need to pee
  • You get a burning feeling while you’re urinating
  • Feeling of pressure or pain in your lower abdomen
  • Weird-smelling urine
  • Change in urine color
  • Tiredness and chills
  • Fever

The first few are early signs of UTI. If you start treating it then, you’ll easily get out of the agony. However, if you miss noticing them, the other symptoms will develop, leading to kidney infection. This is when you might get a fever and contact your doctor if you already haven’t called him.

But, we recommend that you immediately contact your doctor and do tests. You’ll simply need to give an urine sample, and the test will show whether you do have or you don’t have it.

UTI treatment

When the first signs appear, you could try drinking a lot of tea, like – a lot! Try bearberry or cranberry tea, they’re the best urinary tract infection healers. However, if that doesn’t work, pay your doctor a visit. When you’re being diagnosed with UTI, your doctor will prescribe you antibiotics. Also, you could use heating pads to help you soothe the pain.
