Lasagna is definitely one of the favorite dishes for most people. However, typical lasagna, which includes ground meat and milk products, is healthy at all. We’ve prepared a healthier solution for your favorite dish, so check it out.
Soy lasagna as a healthy Halloween specialty
To prepare this incredible dish you need:
- 2 onions, cut in small pieces
- 150 gr of soy granules
- Olive oil
- 1l of homemade tomato sauce
- 200gr of vegetable or low-fat cheese
- 200ml of vegetable or low-fat cream
- 1 pack of lasagnas
- Oregano
- Salt
- Ground garlic
Method of preparation
First of all, you put the soy granules in hot water so they become soft. Drain them and put them aside for a moment. Cut the onion and cook it with olive oil on low fire for 3 minutes in a pot. Add the soy, salt, oregano, ground garlic and cook for another 5-10 minutes. Next, put the tomato sauce and leave it until it starts boiling. When this is ready, you start the procedure.
Preheat your oven (200 C). Take a rectangular baking pan and spray it the cream. First step is to arrange the lasagnas one next to another so there’s no space between them. Arrange them throughout the whole pan surface. Next, put tomato-soy mixture, then cheese, then spray with cream again. You repeat this for 2 more times, and after you’ve arranged the 3 layer of lasagnas, put a little bit more cheese and spray it with the cream. Put a little bit of oregano on top. Bake for 45 minutes.
Serving
This dish is for 6 people. However, as a Halloween dish, you can serve it in smaller pieces. Take the pan, and cut the lasagna in bars and serve them as snacks. Put a little bit of tomato sauce and oregano in a small bowl so your guests could dip their lasagnas in. Sounds perfect, right?
