When the first symptoms of tonsillitis appear, start using one of these 5 home remedies in order to stop it on time and prevent complications!
It is well known that tonsillitis is one of the most common conditions. In fact, it usually affects children. This happens when the lymph nodes that lie between the back of the mouth and the upper throat called the tonsils, become inflamed.
The main function of the tonsils is the filtration and elimination of bacteria or germs to avoid the affection of the throat, mouth or sinuses. This causes the tonsils to always be in contact with these bacteria and germs, which causes them to settle causing their inflammation, causing what we mentioned earlier as tonsillitis.
This condition significantly aggravates the tonsils and adenoids (located in the bottom of the nose). We mentioned that it was very common for children to occur because they have the largest tonsils at an early age, causing them to be more prone to infections.
Within the first symptoms of tonsillitis, we can mention: sore throat and ear, sensitivity to eating, difficulty swallowing, fever, red tonsils, bad breath, and swollen glands, among others.
