What your urine says about your kidney

Kidney is one of the most important parts of the body, as it detoxifies and cleans the organism. It functions as a filter which filters up to 150 quarts of blood every day. That’s why it is essential for you to keep your kidneys safe in order to be healthy. Kidneys are responsible for removing waste out of your body, increasing red blood cells, stabilizing blood pressure and much more.  In case of kidney damage of any kind, your body starts acting weird and you’re put in a great risk because of that. Chances are you get way more serious health problems.

What your urine says about your kidney?

To see whether your kidney is okay, just look at your urine. If it’s the same as always, you’re fine. But, if you see that your urine has changed in some way, you should see a doctor. If your urine is somehow foamy, dark or very light, it signals that something’s wrong.

If this change in urine is accompanied with urge for urinating, trouble or pressure during urinating then you’re in trouble, pal. Pain in the abdomen and less or more frequent urinating are also signs of kidney disorder.

Other symptoms of kidney disorder

Swellings all over your face and joints, breath shortness, rashes and metallic taste in your mouth are also symptoms of kidney dysfunction. All of this is due to reduced number of red blood cells and stored toxins on different parts of the body.

When the kidneys are healthy, they produce erythropoietin, which is a hormone that increases the red blood cells. When they’re not, the number of red blood cells drops and this causes serious problems for your health.
