5 tricks how to remove odor from feet
We present you 5 mixtures in which you should soak your feet.
1. Citrus and baking soda
Lemon has a fresh scent and also works as an astringent. Baking soda, on the other hand, is a cleaning agent, killing the fungus or bacteria and softening your skin. Just grab one large bowl, fill it with 8 cups of warm water, ¼ cup of baking soda, juice one lemon and mix well. Soak your feet in this mixture for 20-30 minutes, dry your feet and put cotton socks on.
2. Rosemary and sage
Sage and rosemary are both astringents, minimizing the production of sweat, ergo, killing the bacteria’s ideal environment. Also, they both have antibacterial/antifungal properties, which makes their effect even stronger. In one bowl put boiled water, add 2 teaspoons of dried sage and 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary. Leave the herbs steep until the water cools down enough for you to put your feet in. Soak for 20-30 minutes. Dry your feet and put cotton socks on.
3. Black tea
Take one bowl and fill it with 4 cups of boiling water. Add 5 bags of black tea and leave it like that for 10 minutes. Soak your feet for 20 minutes and dry them. Black tea naturally removes the feet odor, and people who have tried this are utterly satisfied with the desired effects of it.
4. Vinegar
Vinegar, although it smells awkward itself, actually creates acidic environment which prevents bacteria to survive in and multiply. In a nutshell, vinegar literally kills the stinky smell. You need ½ cup apple cider vinegar, 8 cups of warm water and a bowl. Pour the water and vinegar in the bowl, mix it and soak your feet for 20 minutes. It gives better results if you soak your feet in it twice a day. After that, wash your feet with cold water, dry and put cotton socks on.
5. Epsom salt
Epsom salt neutralizes odor and even reduces feet pain. For this mixture, you only need 8 cups of warm water and ½ cup of Epsom salt. That’s it. Mix them in a bow, soak your feet for 30 minutes, twice a day, dry, put cotton socks on and voila!
