It can develop as a result of obesity, glandular disorders, diabetes or you can simply be born with it.

Many women and men face this problem and want to get rid of it. But can you do that at home, using household ingredients? Of course you can!

Eliminate the dark skin on your private area

Yogurt

You can use plain yogurt peeling to get rid of this problem. Just apply some yogurt, massage a little bit and leave it dry for 15 minutes. After that, wash it with warm water. Repeat this for several weeks, once a day and you’ll see the results.

Gram flour

Ground chickpeas, or gram flour can be a great solution as well. Add one table spoon of this flour to a small glass of water and mix until you get a smooth paste. Apply a thick layer on the dark area and leave it dry. Wash off with warm water. Repeat the procedure three times a week until you get the wanted results.

Lemons

This one is super easy. All you need to do is juice one lemon and apply the juice on the dark skin. Let it stay on the area for 10 minutes and wash it off with warm water. Repeat this every day for several weeks and you will be amazed with the results.

Caution: don’t do this right after you’ve shaved the area; your skin will get irritated.

Aloe vera

You have aloe vera plant in your home? Great! Just squeeze one leaf and you’ll extract the gel out of it. Apply that gel and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Repeat this procedure each time you’re having a bath. Aloe vera is great for the skin and perfect in treating discolorations.

Turmeric and orange juice

Take two tablespoons of freshly juiced orange and add a little bit of turmeric to it. Apply it on the dark area and let it stay for 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Repeat the procedure until you have no dark area left.

Rose water and sandalwood

Sandalwood powder can be bought in the store, and you can make your own rose water. Just take one rose, and leave its petals in water overnight. In the morning, remove the petals and you’ll have your rose water.

Now, take one tablespoon of sandalwood powder and mix it with 10 rose water drops. Apply it on the area after you’ve taken a bath and let it stay like that for 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water again. Do this three times a week until you see no more discoloration.
