The Easiest Way To Wash And Remove Pesticides On Fruit And Veggies!

Pesticides on fruit and veggies are almost invisible but cause a lot of health problems. Wash your fruits and veggies using this super easy method!

Fruits and veggies are essential if you wanna lead a healthy life; actually, there’s no healthy life without them. However, you can never be sure enough whether you’ve washed all the pesticides off them before you eat them.

In fact, pesticides can cause huge damage to your general health. Sadly, no one that sells fruits and veggies cleans them from pesticides; they just put them on the market and sell them.

It is you who needs to take care of your health. That’s why you should know that in the USA, the Department of Agriculture has tested the US fruit and vegetable market and has found that 65% of them are pesticides positive!

This year only, a great amount of fruits and veggies have been tested and found positive on pesticides. These include: collard greens, apples, purple berries, celery, cherry tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, kale, spinach, hot peppers, strawberries, peaches and cucumbers!

So what can you do about this huge problem? One of the best solutions is buying organic food. This solution is, of course, more expensive than the usual. Nonetheless, although you could buy organic food, washing them is mandatory.

How to get rid of pesticides on fruit and veggies?

On one hand, you could use the water and vinegar solution. Add 3 parts of white vinegar and 1 part water solution in a spray bottle and apply it on the fruits and veggies. Rub them nicely and wash them.

On the other hand, you add lemon juice to the previous combination. So, you’ll need 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 of white vinegar and 1 cup of water. Add them to a spray bottle, shake the bottle and start spraying. Rub well and rinse.

Or, if you’re not a vinegar fan, you could use the salt and water solution. Add 4 cups of lukewarm water and 2 teaspoons of salt in one bowl and stir a little, in order for the salt to dissolve. Let the solution cool down. Add the fruits and veggies inside and leave them for at least 30 minutes. Rub well before washing them.
