This regimen is amazing because it regulates your metabolism and it focuses on making healthy eating habits rather than weight loss. Naturally, if you eat healthy you’ll lose weight, and this is precisely what happened with Adele.
What is Sirtfood diet that Adele lost weight with?
The sirtfood diet includes food rich in sirtuin, a type of protein that is extremely beneficial for your organism. It protects the cells and the body of many inflammation and illnesses and helps in muscle increase and fat burning process.
The food included in this diet is: dark chocolate, red wine, green tea, kale, blueberries, olives, apples and etc. As you can see, meat is excluded but in moderation: you could use lean meat but only as an addition to these foods, not as the main dish.
The first three days of this diet include nothing more than 1000 calories. Calories intake grows the next four days for 500 more calories. So, first three days 1000, next four days 1500 calories. This equals two smoothies, for breakfast and snack and two meals.
After the first week, you are allowed to eat unlimited amount of these sirtfoods, but you’ll also need to exercise every single day. Following this diet, you can lose up to 6 pounds every week.
As you can see, there’s nothing dramatic or drastic in this diet and you won’t lose weight in a day. This an actual regimen that needs to grow on to become your normal eating habit. It is not the type of diet that makes you lose pounds fast while damaging your health.
