Today, there are a lot of presumably healthy foods that actually make you fat. Even you eat them all the time without knowing the dark truth behind them. You won’t believe what you’re about to read and sorry we have to break it out for you, but dude, consider this!
Don’t go nuts?!
Nuts are healthy, but raw. Any other kind of nuts is making you fat. For example, macadamias. According to NSDA, macadamias have 962 calories! That’s like a whole meal! You could try a few, but never eat a whole pack!
Yogurt? Really?!?
Yes, really. Although some are labeled as non-fat, they still have quite a number of calories, so you cannot eat them freely as a snack. Or, God-forbid in combination with something else. An average yogurt, Greek for example, has 100 calories. So, if you do combine it with something, bear in mind this figure.
You cannot be ‘cereals’!
Actually, we are serious. Before you jump to conclusions whether to pick one pack of cereals or another, read the nutritional facts and then decide. Marshmallow, chocolate-filled and fruity cereals contain more fat than you would’ve imagined. Try eating whole-wheat only.
C’mon! Granola bars?
Don’t panic. Not all of them. Just those with fruits and chocolate. The other ones which are low-calorie-protein-rich are good. Eat those.
Fruit juice? Killing me?
Yes, killing you softly :). If you see a man squeeze orange in front of you, drink it, otherwise… nope! Fruit juices are so full artificial sweeteners and syrups that there’s barely even a real fruit in it. You’re in fact consuming bare syrup.
Packed salad?!? Okay, now the healthiest to-go meal? You’re exaggerating!
Oh, but we’re not! First of all, those vegetables in there… not fresh! They have been packed days in advance. Secondly, the dressing? Made from eggs, cream, bacon, ham, and God knows what else? Not good, my friend, not good. Why don’t you try packing your own salad instead? In that way, you’ll be certain that you’re having the healthiest to-go meal.
And these presumably healthy foods are proven to be fattening, guys. See for yourself. Try cutting these off your diet and you’ll notice the difference.
